We meet you at Algeciras to take the ferry to start your epic journey.

Our first overnight stop is in the mountain town of Chefchaouen. Situated in the Rif Mountains it is known as "the Blue City". Built in 1600's on the side of the mountain
it is a blend of Spanish and Moroccan architecture and feels different to many Moroccan towns. The surrounding countryside is lightly forested and typical of much of the rural north of Morocco.

Travelling through the Mountains, where the roads are much improved since our first visit six years ago, we stop overnight to sample a little eastern delight in Fez. Make a visit to the Medina to experience this old culture as it has been pretty unchanged in the way it works and appears for over a thousand years.

From Fez we ride down through the desert and mountains to Erfoud and our hotel which has been used as a rally raid training centre for several years. Try out their hammam spa to unknot those weary muscles. Spending 2 nights here you get the chance to go out into the desert and see the Sahara at close quarters.

Moving on from Erfoud we explore the beautiful Dades and Todra Gorges near our next hotel. We then move on to Ouarzazate where you can visit the film studios of Morocco where such films as Lawrence of Arabia, Star Wars and Gladiator were shot.

Travel onwards back across the Atlas Mountains we rest in Marrakech. Here a visit to the Djemaa el Fna square to watch entertainers or sample a myriad of different tastes and flavours at the many food stalls and inexpensive restaurants. Here you can also visit various souks, each with groups of specialized artisans and trades.

Heading back north we travel through much of the almost alpine foothills to the Atlas Mountains winding our way up and down various passes back to Meknes, a very happening city due to it being the residence of the current King. Finally we return to Ceuta/Tangiers and take the ferry back to Spain.

Day 2 & 3 Ride to Fes - 200 Miles
Spend 2 Nights in Fes to spend time in Medina *and explore the area

Day 4 & 5 Ride to Erfoud on the Edge of the Sahara includes High Atlas Mountains 320 miles, Spend 2 Nights in Erfoud to explore local area or take advantage of excursions trips* in Desert

Day 6 & 7 Ride to Dades Gorge 150 miles
Spend 2 Nights in Dades to explore Gorges (Todra/Dades Mind Blowing)

Day 8 Ride to Marrakech 240 miles

Day 9 Ride to Meknes 250 miles
Spend 2 nights in Meknes to enjoy the Crown City of the King

Day 10 Ride back to Ferry Port Sebta/Tangiers for return to Algeciras (Spain) 175 miles
